Scones
Ingredients
- 225g flour
- 55g butter
- 25g sugar
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 150ml milk
- 1 egg
- 1 pinch of salt
Directions
Preheat the oven at 220°c.
Mix together the flour, baking powder and salt and rub in the butter.
Add sugar and milk. For a soft dough ball.
On a lightly floured surface, spread the dough until it is around 2cm thick.
Cut scones and place them on a baking tray. Brush with the beaten egg.
Bake for 12 to 15 minutes.
